As its name suggests, the Chinese Garden (EW25) was modeled after the Chinese imperial style of architecture and landscaping is a landmark of the district. During traditional Chinese festivals like Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the typically serene grounds is teeming with visitors and bustling with life. Connected to it via a bridge is the Japanese Garden. Besides the gardens, families can also enjoy time together at the Jurong East Swimming Complex, which offers a huge wave pool, lazy river and three spiraling water slides. Even though they aren’t any shopping malls within the neighborhood, residents can easily enjoy retail and entertainment facilities at Jurong East one stop away. Big Box, a new warehouse retail development, will provide residents with more shopping options. Parents can be spoilt for choices when it comes to choosing educational institutions, among which includes YuHua Primary School, Shuqun Secondary School and Fuhua Primary School. Apartments such as Parc Oasis and The Mayfair are within the vicinity.
