Home to the Singapore Sports Hub, Stadium MRT (CC6) provides a gateway for sports lovers. Besides a 55,000 seat National Stadium, the hub also houses the Water Sports Centre and Aquatic Centre where the 28th South East Asian Games will be held. Many sports association also hold their offices in the arena, including the Badminton Association Singapore and Netball Singapore. Throughout the year, a dynamic range of sports and community events are organized here. Not to be missed is the Singapore Indoor Stadium, where world famous bands and stars have captivated locals with their performances. The BNP Paribas WTA Finals was just recently held in the Stadium. For more dining and retail options, Kallang Wave Mall and the Stadium Waterfront are just within the vicinity. Not too far away, The Singapore Canoe Federation and Kallang Water Sports Centre add on to the sporting scene, offering dragon boating and canoeing activities for water sports enthusiasts.
